Witness appeal following criminal damage in Baldock

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of criminal damage in Baldock.

It was reported that between 10pm on Monday 10 March and 8am on Tuesday 11 March a memorial cross gravestone within St Mary’s Church graveyard was pushed over causing it to smash.

PC Harriet Bender, of the North Herts Intervention Team, said: “Our enquiries are continuing into this incident, and I am asking anyone with information to please come forward.

“Did you see anything, or witness anyone acting suspiciously around the times mentioned? If so, please email me at Harriet.Bender@herts.police.uk with any information.”
